Myopia Management
Myopia management, also known as myopia control, is a proactive approach to slow down the progression of nearsightedness (myopia) in children, reducing the risk of vision-threatening complications later in life. It involves using specific treatments like specialized lenses, eye drops, and lifestyle changes.

Retinal Imaging Policy
It is our policy that every patient has retinal imaging performed every year as part of our routine standard of care. At each comprehensive eye exam, retinal imaging is performed on every patient age 5 and older, with either a widefield Optomap or an OCT scan (Maestro 2), typically on an alternating basis. This imaging helps the doctor detect and monitor eye diseases more effectively. There is a copay of up to $39 for retinal imaging, depending on if it has already been paid for as part of your vision plan premium.
